The Lost Kids: Malang-Batu, Day 1

Hello guys! So, few weeks ago, on January 13-14, me and my friends went to Malang city. I am sorry to post this story a month after it happened, I was too lazy and not in the right mood to write. And finally I have the mood! It is late but, I also want to give some review of places I visited when I was in Malang city.

Here's our first day. Our first day started at January 13, 7:00 a.m. We already set up our meeting place but apparently we were kinda late. It was 8:00 a.m. when we were on minibus and ready to go to our holiday destination. Yayyy!! :D

Oh, yeah, to be honest, this was my first time having a holiday outside the town with my friends. That's why I said it is exciting to have a holiday together with your crazy friends.

The chaos hasn't started yet. The chaos will start soon. *evil laugh*

I forgot at what time were we arrived at Malang, probably about 10 or 10:30 a.m. because that was the time when we were having lunch at Gang Djangkrik. Hehee.

After a nice lunch, it was about 12:00 p.m. when we arrived at our guesthouse we booked few days before. The name is Armyn Luxury Guesthouse, located at Jalan Telomoyo no. 22, Malang. I recommended this guesthouse for everyone out there who wants to go to Malang but doesn't know where to sleep. The price is quite affordable, especially if you're planning to go with your friends. But, my advice is, if your group is consist of about 8-10 person, just book the family room with extra bed because the family room is quite big. And don't forget to be sneaky because you don't want to get caught and pay more hehehe.

And then, after some rest, me and my friend went to a cafe near Armyn. It is called Madam Wang Secret Garden, located on Jalan Telomoyo no. 12. I didn't order some drinks or food there so I can't really give you a review for food and beverages things, but I got some good photos. First thing that came into my mind was Madam Wang was a good place, it's cozy enough, but there were not much seats. The outdoor place is pretty good. And then if you choose to go indoor, there will be this cool wall.

See? It was a pair of wings composed by food but believe me, it makes your photo much cooler ehehe. Also I got that lighting which makes my friend went "hey I want to get that light too", but after some shoot he still doesn't get the lighting he wanted.

After spending some time, we went back to Armyn, getting ready to go to another place.

Okay, enough room selfies and stuffs. Let's go the next chapter.

First, we went to a milk shop at Batu which is so famous. The milk shop located near alun-alun Batu. When I was a kid, I used to go there with my family for once a while. We took another selfie (again).

Here's a review for the milk: tasty and delicious as always. The taste on the picture above is melon (honeydew) and I liked it because it tastes so good. I bought a liter because the small one is not enough for a milk-lover like me. Besides cold milk like this one, this shop also sells hot milk that you can drink right in the place.

After those milky-things, we had some dinner and then we went to BNS. Yayyyy! As I predicted, the ticket price was Rp 20.000,00. Inside, I wanted to play something extreme but nobody plays something. Also, it was gerimis (I don't know what's the English for gerimis, I am sorry dear foreign readers *insert sad emoji here*).

Altough it was gerimis, we found a new place inside, it's 3D Art Museum. We took cool photos inside. Not only cool ones, but also silly ones. You can see them here.

Stressed, Depressed, but Well Dressed

This holiday I feel more stressed than usual. It's not like I'm not enjoying my holiday, but there is something I can't stop think about. Yes. It's about my grades last semester.

I admit it, I didn't do well last semester. Instead of doing things right, I felt like I screwed up almost everything. School subjects, especially merancang was the hardest part of my life. I'm not even joking about merancang. It was like buah simalakama, you go forward and you'll screwed up, or you go back but you'll be left behind.

I wish architecture was as easy as construct a building using Lego bricks set.
And no, this post isn't sponsored by Lego.

Long story short, the holiday came and I had a dream about nggak lulus merancang. After I dreamt that, I became aware that I might getting stressed and I read signs of stressed people. There was a point saying that stressed people might lose weight without them trying hard. And I was shocked because I checked my weight and I lose without even trying. Am I really stressed?

Architecture and merancang doesn't let me live my normal life.

Of course, there is time where I felt better but today, I got another fucking mental breakdown, again. Maybe it was my bad that I didn't do things well and asal pilih kepanitiaan which led me to my maximum breakdown and getting tired. I felt bored of things, jenuh, and I was too fucking tired. I need some fucking recreation in which my family can't really do that because my family condition isn't fucking good. It doesn't end like that. There was still much bigger, harder pressure I had to bear: competition in studio. I understand I wasn't the best student with best grade. Sometime it is fun and good to be in a same class with these smart-ass people, but it also increasing the goddamn standard of how hard we should work and blahblahblah. The point is: I am fucked up.

How about sobbing architectural-ly since I'm an architecture student?

Yeah, maybe when all the results are out I'll sob uncontrollably, gross, dramatically and hysterically while I'm wearing fancy clothes or at least cool clothes. I need to dress well even if I'm sobbing, right?

So, yeah, I hope my scores are not bad, nilai mepet pun aku rela :') I'll be the happiest person in the world if I pass and then I'll walk out of the place like this.

Welcoming the 2013

Sebelumnya aku pengen ngucapin merry christmas and happy new year 2013 :D yah telat-telat dikit gak apa lah, yang penting niat ngucapinnya :p hehehe.

Wuah 2012 udah berakhir kawan, 2013 juga udah menghadang. Sementara itu libur gak kemana-mana dan bentar lagi bakal disibukkan sama kegiatan sekolah menjelang unas, ujian akhir sekolah, ujian praktek, dll. Oke, harusnya libur kalo nganggur di rumah gini masih nyempetin waktu untuk belajar, tapi balik lagi ke motto-ku : "libur ya libur, jangan dipake belajar", karena kalo belajar sama aja, kita nggak bakal menikmati waktu luang yang tersedia, trus jadinya malah tambah stress. Aaaaaaa tidaaaaak *malah stress sendiri*

Untuk tahun ini, kalo ditanya resolusi aku juga nggak bakal minta yang muluk-muluk :

1. Lulus sekolah & lulus dari ujian-ujian yang ada, mulai ujian praktek sampe Ujian Nasional Amat Sinting #ifyouknowwhatImean

2. Jadi lebih rajin & alim, mengingat udah mau lulus

3. Menjalani hidup dengan lebih bersyukur. Entah kenapa kalo aku nggak sreg sama sesuatu aku susah bersyukur. Jadi, aku emang harus lebih banyak belajar bersyukur.

4. Melepas status single alias mblo biar gak jadi obat nyamuk & biar gak galauan -____- #abaikan #jangandibaca

5. Rajin nabung biar bisa beli mini cooper #ehek #ngayal #inijugajangandibaca

6. Seabrek keinginan lain yang belum terpenuhi :p

Simpel kan? Hahaha oke, emag sih beberapa cuma ngayal, tapi gak apa deh, ngayal juga gak bayar kok :p hahahaha

Yeah yeah yeah, 2012 was such a beautiful memories, but we have to keep moving on. So, let's face the 2013. Wish it would be more nice & be more wonderful!

A Day In Bali

29Desember2011 : Petualangan hari kedua di Bali, dimulaii :D

 Jadi, hari itu dimulai dengan bangun pagi jam 8 (padahal niatnya jam 6 ato setengah 7 udah bangun -___- ) trus mandi. Brangkat makan ayam betutu yang emang terkenal di Bali. Ayam Betutu Gilimanuk niih namanya. Disitu, dua keluarga yang bertualang bersama dalam senang sedih suka duka Bli Putu, driver dan tour guide kita makan. Uyeaaaahh akhirnya makan jugaa :9 And you know whaaattt? Dan sejak saat itu, jadilah saya seorang BETUTU-CHICKEN-LOVER ♥

Oke, perjalanan berlanjut ke Dreamland yang isinya pantai (ya masa isinya kali -_- ) Di situ, ada shuttle bus yang gunanya buat ngangkutin orang menuju pantai Dreamland atau sebaliknya.

Dan ini dia yang aku pikirin pas di Dreamland :

*Masuk Dreamland > "Hmm rame juga yah."

*Ditawarin barang sama orang  jualan > (senyum doang ato pura-pura nggak tau)

*Foto di pantai > "Eh bli, bentar bli!" (benerin rambut) "Nah ya oke.." (beberapa detik kemudian) "Eeeh sebentar bli sebentaaar!" (benerin rambut lagi) -_________-

*Liat bule > "Eittss, ganteng nih bule." (lirik-lirik gak berani ngajakin ngomong)

*Balik ke tempat nunggu shuttle bus > [papa] "Ce, gak kepanasen tah?" | [aku] "Nggak kok pa." (padahal aslinya iya)

*Orang jualan es krim > [pedagang] "Es krim.. Es krim.. Panas gini enak lho makan es krim.." | [semua] "Aku ini." atau "Aku yang ini ya." atau "Eh gak sido! Aku iki ae!!" (yang lain rusuh, aku cuma ngeliatin) | [papa] "Ce, ayo ce kalo mau." | [aku] "Bli, yang ini satuu!" (ambil magnum)

Rame deh pokoknya.

Di pintu masuk dan keluar dari Dreamland, kalian tau kan yang ada patungnya pas mau ke Dreamland itu? Yaaa, yang patungnya gede tinggi itu (maklum, lupa namanya nih) rombongan kami nyempetin foto-foto dulu sampe kehabisan gaya.

Dari pantai Dreamland, kita langsung cuss ke Garuda Wisnu Kencana a.k.a GWK. Keren ya ternyata, berasa ada di dunia imajinasi kalo liat landscapenya. Sambil ngeliat pemandangan, sambil foto-foto, sambil cari wahana asik. Lucu juga sih, ada cowok sempet nanyain aku dari mana sambil cengar-cengir. Eman ya nggak berlanjut ke acara perkenalan #ehh #oposehgus hahaha. Di GWK pula aku pertama kalinya njajal permainan flying fox. Ahe asik bangeeet. You should try this!! Hahahaa.

Abis itu, langsung ke Blue Point, Uluwatu, tempat syutingnya film Eat, Pray, Love. Nggak salah  deh kalo kru film EPL milih tempat ini sebagai lokasi syuting, bagus! Nggak kalah sama tempat-tempat lain lhoo. Di Blue Point, kita duduk-duduk sebentar, sambil makan pizza yang sayangnya ukuran kecil (mungkin medium). Tapi enak juga kok. Hahaha.

Perjalanan keliling Bali hari pertama selesai. Puas banget deh. Sampe di villa langsung tidur, menyiapkan stamina untuk hari esok penuh tantangan :)

Well, sorry for the loooong time after the first post. Maklum, anak sekolah sibuk abis, jadi baru nulisnya sekarang #soksibuk

Makassar Tour - Day 4

16 Juni 2011 - Day 4


Yeah, well, I''m trapped there for a day. Bayangin aja, brangkat ke bandara pagi-pagi, eh pesawatnya di delay -_- Mungkin emang lagi gak beruntung kali ya. Akhirnya tiketnya dituker. Untung bisa ditukerin. Kalo gak? Mungkin aku bakal terjebak di Makassar trus-trusan. Hahahha. Yahh, waktu itu saking emosinya, pas pulang aku sampe dieeeeemm aja. Pokoknya mendadak jadi sensi deh.


Dari bandara menuju ke suatu tempat dimana aku, adekku, tanteku, sama omku bisa makan (atau minum?) es pisang ijo. Es pisang ijo itu pisangnya dibungkus sama adonan (entah adonan apa) yang warnanya ijo. Hehe. Wuaahhhh seger deh rasanya. Gila aja, Makassar lagi panas-panasnya man! Udah emosi gara-gara pesawatnya di delay (kepingin pulang sumpah), ehh ditambahin udara panas lagi. Wohhh bikin mledak -_-


Dan, abis makan es pisang ijo? Ya pulang ke kosnya tanteku. Mau ngapain lagi coba? Se-Makassar banyak yang udah aku kunjungi. Hehehe. Hal yang bisa aku lakukan waktu itu : ndekem di kamar -_- And, that's all my story for the fourth day. See you at the last post :D

Makassar Tour - Day 2

13 Juni 2011 - Day 2


Yayy! Ke transstudio Makassar :) Tapi baru kesana jam 12-an sihh. Soalnya tanteku masih ada sedikit urusan di kantornya. But, that's okay. Seneng? Jelas lahh. Cuma waktu nunggu, aku sama adekku cuma plonga-plongo gak karuan kayak anak ilang -__- abis gak kenal siapa-siapa disana (tentu aja kecuali tanteku sama adekku).

Oke, hal-hal yang gak sebrapa penting kita skip aja.
Akhirnya sampai lah kami semua di transmall. Lho? Apa bedanya transstudio sama transmall? Bedanya adalah :
--> transstudio : ada di dalemnya trans mall alias indoor
--> transmall : udah jelas namanya mall, ya pasti merupakan sebuah mall
hehe
Begitu masuk transmall (di dalemnya, bukan di parkirannya), yang terlintas dipikiranku kayak gini : "Wiih keren yo mall.e." Haha soalnya emang keren abis sumpah. Kalo dibandingin sama di Surabaya, kayak sutos, tapi jauh lebih luas. Hehe. Gak bisa ngomong pake kata-kata deh *soalnya emang lagi gak ada ide sih.
Trus, ada satu kewajiban sebelum bersenang-senang di transstudio : makan! Ohohooo. Tepatnya makan di pizza hut. Soalnya emang deket dan bersebelahan sama transstudio. Wkwkw

Dan terjadilah hal itu (jreng jeng jrenggg) masuk transstudio! Ini dia langkah-langkahnya.
Langkah pertama : beli passnya, udah diisi 100rb, untuk smua wahana.
Langkah kedua : masuk ke indoor theme park tersebut.
Langkah ketiga : bermain sepuasnya didalam sana B)

Wahananya banyak banget. Salah satunya ada bioskop 4D. Waktu itu yang tayang film pendeknya si spongebob. Hehe. Asik lho. Trus salah satu yg paling berkesan itu adalah musical theatre-nya. Yang dimainin waktu itu judulnya 'Cinta dan Keajaiban'. Wow. Speechless begitu liatnya. Mainnya bagus, persiapan yang dilakukan juga kliatan banget kalo bener-bener disiapin dengan sepenuh hati. Lagu-lagunya oke. Ekspresinya bener-bener sip. Wah pokoknya sip banget deh. Jadi pengen bikin musical theatre lagi. Wkwkw.

Sebelum kluar dari transstudio, ada mas-mas penjaga petugasnya transstudio yang nawarin foto bareng bule. Bulenya itu pemain sirkus dari rusia. Cowok lagi. Siapa coba yg gak pengen? Hahahah. Akhirnya aku (sendirian) foto bareng bule itu tanpa adek maupun tanteku. Gak ada yang mau tuh. Dan untuk berfoto, saya denagn sedikit terpaksa harus merelakan uang sejumlah 50rb -__- nyesel? Dikit. Yang penting foto bareng bule. Hahahaha.

Dan sudah seharian aku, adekku, sama tanteku disana. Dan saatnya pulang. Eh, tapi sebelum pulang makan lagi. Makannya apa juga gak berat koq. Cuma makan pancake, aku milihnya sih waffle. Hahaha. Enak loh :D Abis itu pulang.

Makassar Tour - Day 1

Tanggal : 12-16 Juni 2011, lebih satu hari gara-gara pesawatnya di delay -__-

Yeah this is it! Liburan ke luar pulau yang bisa dibilang jauh dari kota Surabaya, yaitu ke Sulawesi Selatan, tempat dimana kota Makassar berdiam diri (emang orang apa?). Hehehhe. Yukk kita liat satu persatu kegiatan selama disana :p

12 Juni 2011 - Day 1
Brangkat ke Makassar jam 9 pagi. Aku berangkatnya sama adekku juga om-tanrteku yang tinggal disana. Uiihhh dari masuk bandara sampe di pesawatnya, yang namanya foto-foto itu sama sekali gak kelupaan.

Itu foto pas baru brangkatnya. Dan, di perjalanan ke Makassar, uiiihhh gila sumpah, langitnya bagus banget man! Awannya keren -_- hehehe. Dan, ada suatu perasaan yang timbul. Mungkin karena udah lama gak naek pesawat ya. Hehehe.

Yeah. Narsis banget yahh? Haha. Dan pas di Makassar inilah aku baru tahu kalo ada perbedaan waktu 1 jam antara Surabaya dengan Makassar. Di Makassar, waktunya 1 jam lebih cepet daripada di Surabaya. Jadi pas dateng agak agak bingung gitu. Hehe.

Setelah ituu, perjalanan dilanjutkan dengan memakan makanan khas Makassar. Namanya pallubasa. Menurutku, pallubasa ini semacem soto tapi punya rasa yang khas. Pallubasa itu bukan coto tapii. Isinya ada daging sapi. Kalo dimakan bisa pake kuning telur (mentah), dan biar lebih enak bisa ditambahkan jeruk yang biasa dipake untuk nambahin rasa biar manteb (aku lupa namanya apa).

Setelah makan, kegiatannya gak sebrapa bikin capek sih. Cuma pulang buat istirahat aja. Tapi sorenyaa dilanjutin dengan kegiatan beli pulsa (sebenernya yang ini gak perlu lapor haha), dan beli makan. Makan malemnya itu mie kering. Namanya emang mie kering, tapi gak kering banget. Soalnya mie kering ini semacem tamie capcay. Bukan, isinya bukan capcay tapii. Kalo kalian ke Makassar, coba deh beli mie kering :) Aku gak bisa njelasin soalnya. Hehehe.

Abis beli mie kering, aku pulang. Mie-nya tadi beli tapi bungkus bawa pulang gitu. Trus dimakan dirumah (nyamm). Enak lhoo :D Tapi kalian yang belum pernah ke Makassar boleh percaya boleh nggak, soalnya seporsi makanan itu gede lhoo. Hahaha. Aku aja kaget gak karu-karuan. Wah wah emang dashyat orang sana :) Tapi dalam beberapa hari aku udah terbiasa. Bukan terbiasa makan buanyak, tapi terbiasa sama porsi makannya (?) Gak jelas nih haha.
